START 
Clapham Common
- Exit Clapham Common via Pelican Crossing on the junction of Clapham Common North Side and Cedars Road.
- Follow Cedars Road and continue as it becomes Queenstown Road.
- You will pass Queenstown Road and Battersea Park National Rail Stations on your right. Continue straight on as Queenstown Road becomes Chelsea Bridge.
- Turn right onto Grosvenor Road and follow river to Vauxhall Bridge.
- Use Pelican crossing to reach left side of Vauxhall Bridge.
- Turn right and cross bridge.
- Use steps on left to join the Thames path.
Step free access:
Continue to end of bridge and turn left onto Albert Embankment. Walk for 50 metres and then follow path to left (signed Thames path) next to MI6 building.- Cross over slipway and follow Thames path along Albert Embankment.
- As you approach Lambeth Bridge keep left for steps or keep right for ramp.
- Turn left onto Lambeth Bridge and continue across.
- On the far side of the bridge use Pelican crossing and continue straight, down steps, into Victoria Tower Gardens.
Step free access:
After Zebra crossing follow Millbank Road for 20 metres and entrance to park is on the left.- Follow path along the river and then to the far left corner of the park. Exit through gate and turn left behind Houses of Parliament.
- Use Pelican crossing to reach left hand side of Bridge Street.
- Turn right and continue to the Pelican crossing after which you will join Westminster Bridge.
Step free access:
Continue across bridge and take the first left onto Belvedere Road. After 50 metres turn left and rejoin the Thames Path at the London Eye.- Continue along the Southbank, past the Millennium Eye and under the Golden Jubilee Bridges.
- The 2nd starting point will be at 11.30am from the forecourt of the National Theatre, South Bank, London SE1 9PX
- Walk under Waterloo Bridge, with the BFI on your right, and turn right for steps to join the bridge.
Step free access:
Continue past steps and follow the service lane up to the traffic island. IMAX cinema in the middle. Turn immediately back on yourself and cross the bridge on right hand side.- Use steps on right to rejoin Thames Path Step free access: Follow the bridge to road junction and turn right passing Somerset House. Continue past King's College and turn right down Surrey Street.
- Use Pelican crossing to join Thames path.
- Turn right and cross Blackfriars Bridge.
- Cross bridge at first Pelican Crossing.
- Continue to road junction and turn left onto Southwark Street.
- After 20 metres turn left onto Hopton Street. Continue down Hopton Street and when road splits follow to the right and use ramp leading to Tate Gallery.
- Rejoin Thames Path to your left and turn right towards the Millennium Bridge.
- Use ramp to join Millennium Bridge and cross, heading directly for St Paul's Cathedral.
- With St Paul's directly in front of you, turn right and follow Cannon Street. Continue down Cannon Street and past Mansion House tube station.
- Use the paved and raised Pelican crossing and continue straight ahead down Queen Street.
- Briefly turn left onto Upper Thames Street and use the Pelican crossing to join Southwark Bridge.
- Exit bridge via steps on left, just before phone box.
Step free access:
Follow Southwark Bridge to road junction and turn left onto Southwark Street. Continue forward and follow path to the left as road becomes Borough High Street.- Follow Thames path under railway arches, down Clink Street and then past the Golden Hind. Enter Southwark Cathedral grounds via gate on Cathedral Street.
- From the top of Southwark Cathedral steps continue towards London Bridge, use the Pelican crossing outside Adecco to join right side of the bridge.
- Continue straight across London Bridge.
- On the left side of the pavement there are steps and a subway that lead back to the Thames path.
Step free access:
Continue past the subway entrance and turn right onto Monument Street. Follow the road to the right and walk down Fish Street. Use the Pelican crossing on Lower Thames Street. Turn left and then immediately right following the signs for the Thames Path.NB. There are two small steps here that are manageable for pushchairs and most wheelchairs. If this route isn't suitable then continue along Lower Thames Street and re-join at the Tower of London gift shop.
- Follow Thames Path to Tower of London gift shop. Walk around gift shop and continue along Thames towards Tower Bridge.
- Walk under arches and use steps on left to join the bridge.
Step free access:
Continue up St Katherine's Way and join bridge from road junction.- Continue over the bridge and use steps on your left, signed 'Engine Room', to descend under the bridge and through to the finish.
